Galway City Centre

Galway city, the third largest city in Ireland, but the population of Galway city, is around 85,000, according to our tour guide. You may wonder how on earth a city just only 85,000 citizen can be said the second largest city in Ireland, so I check Wikipedia, there are only 4,460,000 population in the whole Ireland. What a surprised? The population of Taiwan is more than Ireland, we have 23 millions people in that small island.

In fact, Ireland is developing their tourist business, so they invested a lot of money on their Tourist Information centre, New coach station and other public building or upgrade their transportation equipments. Above is their new Tourist Information Centre, you can collect loads of information you need regarding Galway city or buy some souvenir gifts at there.

Following photos are part of city centre, I noticed that the most common colour is green, so when you walk into any of the shop, you can find out the most common colour is green, on T-shirt, souvenir gifts, all green colour.

Compared with Royal mail (Post office), Postbank in Ireland, the represent colour is green, the royal mail is red.
